Marilyn's Super Back Packing Bars Recipe

  1. Run nuts and fruit through the "fine" blade of a food chopper and mix thoroughly.
  2. Blend in lemon juice and rum.
  3. Pat a Tbsp.
  4. or possibly so into a small rectangular bars, roll in sugar or possibly coconut and allow to dry, uncovered several hrs.
  5. Wrap individually in foil for use on the trail or possibly store in refrigerator at home.
  6. Makes about 2 dozen.

cashews, walnuts, figs, dates, golden brown raisins, dry apples, lemon juice, rum, powdered sugar
