Ila's Crab With Dill on Toast
- 6 pieces white bread
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 14 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces fresh crabmeat
- 1 tablespoon minced shallot
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill
- Cut the crusts off the bread and then cut them into 1/4s.
- Mix together the butter, red pepper flakes and salt.
- Brush the bread with this mixture.
- Bake on a cookie sheet for 10 min at 375 degrees or until golden brown.
- Mix the crab mixture and place on warm toast.
- Garnish with a fresh dill sprig.
