Jeweled Cookies

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
  3. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture.
  4. Stir in raisins, nuts, cherries and pineapple; mix well.
  5. Shape into 2 inch rolls, wrap in waxed paper or foil.
  6. Freeze at least 2 hours.
  7. Cut into 1/4 inchslices; place on greased baking sheets.
  8. Bake at 350F (180C).
  9. for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  10. Cool on wire racks.
