XXX Salsa
- 2 1/2 cup tomatos, peeled and crushed
- 3/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup long hot pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup cayenne pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup habanero pepper, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp cilantro
- 2 tsp salt
- In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, mix together all ingredients except tomato paste.
- Heat until bubbling, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Add tomato paste for added body and thickness until desired consistency is reached.
- Continue cooking until well combined.
- Cool, then pour into jars.
- Refrigerate, or "can" salsa in a hot water bath for 15 mins.
