Creamy Herbed Horseradish Sauce

  1. Melt butter in heavy small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add shallots and garlic; saute until soft and translucent, about 1 minute.
  3. Add wine; simmer until mixture is reduced to 2 tablespoons, about 8 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and cool.
  5. Whisk remaining ingredients into shallot mixture.
  6. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. (Can be prepared 2 days ahead.)
