- 4 slices Purple Onion -thinly Sliced
- 1 whole Ripe Avocados, Peeled, Pitted, Sliced
- Use Whatever Condiments You Like
- Preheat grill or griddle pan on medium high heat and coat grate with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl add sirloin ground beef, salt, pepper, and Pecorino cheese.
- With clean hands mix together and form two large patties.
- Add patties to the grill and cook 4-5 minutes on each side (or to your desired level of done).
- Add provolone cheese (2 slices per burger) the last minute of cooking time.
- I like to toast my onion rolls on the grill, but that is optional.
- Place a cooked cheeseburger on the bottom half of each bun, add 2 lettuce or arugula leaves, 2 ripe tomato slices, 2 slices of purple onion, and several slices of avocado.
- Use whatever condiment youd like to coat the top bun, I just use mayonnaise on ours.
- Place on individual plates and enjoy!
- Homemade french fries go great with this cheeseburger.
