Fat-Free Sugar-Free Quick Apple Butter

  1. Blend ingredients in blender until smooth (I do it in two batches).
  2. Place in heavy, large pan and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover with lid ajar and cook 1 hour and 20 minutes.
  4. Stir every once in a while.
  5. Cool and store in refrigerator.
  6. Will turn darker as it cooks.
  7. Ymmmm GREAT on rice cakes for a quick treat!

unsweetened applesauce, allspice, apple juice, ground cloves, cinnamon
