Herb Marinated Beefsteak Recipe
- 1 pound boneless beef chuck shoulder, cut 1" thick
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. minced parsley
- 2 tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. Dijon style mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- Combine onion, parsley, vinegar, oil, mustard, garlic and thyme.
- Place steak in plastic bag; add in marinade, spreading proportionately on both sides.
- Close bag securely and marinate in refrigerator 6 to 8 hrs, turning at least once.
- Pour off marinade; throw away.
- Place steak on broiler pan so surface of meat is 3" to 4" from heat.
- Broil steak 16 to 18 min to doneness desired, turning once.
- Carve steak into thin slices to serve.
