Vickys Seasoned Salts, Christmas Gift Idea

  1. For each seasoned salt the same method applies:
  2. Stir the 4 ingredients together in a frying pan over a low heat for 3-4 minutes or until the zest dries
  3. Allow to cool then fill your small jars with the flavoured salts
  4. Write the name and use by date on a label tied to each container.
  5. The salts are best used within 3 months
  6. Lemon/chilli goes well with roast chicken.
  7. Rosemary/cumin is good with lamb.
  8. Orange/fennel is great with pork
