Barbecued Flank Steak Recipe

  1. Rub steak all over with oil.
  2. Combine ingredients for Steak Rub and rub meat with it.
  3. Sprinkle top of steak with any left over rub.
  4. Combine ingredients for Barbecue Sauce in a sauce pan.
  5. Bring to boil and cook over low for about 7 min.
  6. Allow sauce to cold.
  7. Marinate a couple of hrs or possibly better.
  8. overnight.
  9. To cook, heat grill and cook for 5 b 7 min on each side, or possibly broil on the stove if you have a large sufficient skillet or possibly broil in oven.
  10. Bring the marinade to a boil in a saucepan and then strain it.
  11. Never use without boiling as it has been on raw meat.
  12. After removing steak from the heat, let flank steak sit for a few min, then slice VERY thinly across the grain and serve with its own juice mixed with the cooked marinade sauce drizzled on top.
