Plum Cobbler with Cinnamon Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Remove 2 Tbsp.
  3. of the sugar; set aside for later use.
  4. Mix the remaining sugar and the tapioca in large saucepan; stir in water.
  5. Bring to boil on medium-high heat.
  6. Add plums; stir gently.
  7. Cook 2 min., stirring frequently.
  8. Spoon into lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish.
  9. Combine baking mix, reserved 2 Tbsp.
  10. sugar and the cinnamon in medium bowl; stir in milk just until mixture forms soft dough.
  11. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto hot fruit mixture.
  12. Bake 28 to 30 min.
  13. or until biscuit topping is golden brown.
