My Grandmother's Gingerbread

  1. Cream fat and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and molasses.
  3. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with water.
  4. Beat 2 minutes.
  5. Pour into shallow pan lined with wax paper.
  6. Bake 25 minutes in a moderate oven (350F).
