White Chocolate Kissed Gingerbread Cookies

  1. Mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg and salt in large bowl.
  2. Beat butter and brown sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Add molasses and egg; beat well.
  4. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low speed until well mixed.
  5. Chill 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Preheat oven to 350F
  7. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
  8. Roll in granulated sugar.
  9. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  10. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges of cookies just begin to brown.
  11. Immediately press a chocolate candy into center of each cookie.
  12. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
