Garlicky Five-Cheese Appetizer Crisps
- 1-3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into chunks
- 1-1/2 cups KRAFT Finely Shredded Italian* Five Cheese Blend
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 Tbsp. white balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- Process flour, cornmeal, baking soda, sugar and garlic powder in food processor until blended.
- Add butter; pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spoon into medium bowl.
- Add cheese, water and vinegar; stir until mixture forms dough.
- Shape into ball; wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate 1 hour.
- Heat oven to 300F.
- Divide dough into 4 pieces; roll each piece into 13-inch circle on floured surface.
- Sprinkle with seasonings; press lightly into dough.
- Cut each circle into 8 wedges.
- Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake 22 to 24 min.
- or until crisp and lightly browned.
- Cool 3 min.
