Japanese-style Salmon and Vegetable Marinade

  1. Put salmon, seasoned with salt and pepper in a plastic bag with flour and shake.
  2. Cut up the onion and sweat in a pan with oil.
  3. Fry the salmon in a generous amount of oil, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add a small amount of sesame oil (not listed).
  5. Parboil the vegetables for about a minute.
  6. Boiling the daikon for a short time makes it crunchy and not watery.
  7. Mix the wet ingredients together in a dish, transfer the salmon as soon as it's cooked, then the vegetables.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and it's ready when the flavor is absorbed.
  9. Marinate for at least an hour.
