Baptist Pound Cake Recipe
- 3 c. Sugar
- 1 stk margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 5 x Large eggs, rm temp Healthy pinch of salt
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 3 c. Plain flour
- 1 tsp Canilla
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 Tbsp. Butternut flavoring
- Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening; add in Large eggs, one at a time.
- Mix well after each.
- Sift flour, baking pwdr, and salt; add in alternately with lowfat milk and flour to first mix.
- Add in flavorings.
- Grease and flour pan.
- Place in cool over.
- Turn heat to 350F, and bake 1/2 hour.
- then turn heat to 325F and bake 40 min more.
- Let stand 5 min after taking from oven.
