Baptist Pound Cake Recipe

  1. Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening; add in Large eggs, one at a time.
  2. Mix well after each.
  3. Sift flour, baking pwdr, and salt; add in alternately with lowfat milk and flour to first mix.
  4. Add in flavorings.
  5. Grease and flour pan.
  6. Place in cool over.
  7. Turn heat to 350F, and bake 1/2 hour.
  8. then turn heat to 325F and bake 40 min more.
  9. Let stand 5 min after taking from oven.
