Smooth and Rich Milk Pudding Made with Kanten
- 300 ml Milk
- 200 ml Heavy cream
- 50 grams Sugar
- 2 grams Kanten powder
- 4 drops Vanilla essence
- Pour milk, kanten, and vanilla essence in a pot and turn on the heat.
- Once the sides of the pot start to bubble, reduce to low heat and continue mixing for 2 minutes until boiled.
- Turn off the heat and let cool.
- While letting the pot cool, whisk the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
- Once the mixture has cooled, strain and add heavy cream in 4 batches.
- Mix well each time.
- (The texture becomes smoother if strained.)
- Pour into cups and leave in the fridge.
- Once they have set, they're done.
