Spiced Popcorn
- 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 cups Popcorn Kernels
- 3 Tablespoons Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- Heat the oil in the bottom of a heavy pan over medium heat until warm.
- You can tell that the oil is heated by putting one kernel in and when it pops, the oil is ready.
- Add popcorn kernels to the hot oil and sprinkle sugar in a single layer over the kernels.
- Cover the pan.
- Let the popcorn cook, shaking the pan to keep it from burning.
- When popping slows, remove from heat, lift the lid and mix in the chili powder and salt.
- Serve while still warm and enjoy!
