Gateau Chocolate Cake

  1. Sift the powdered ingredients.
  2. Separate the egg whites and yolkes.
  3. Melt the chocolate by immersing in a hot water bath, then add margarine and mix.
  4. Put the egg yolks and granulated sugar in a bowl and mix until it becomes white.
  5. Add the melted chocolate and butter to the step 2 mixture and mix.
  6. Add the powdered ingredients and mix.
  7. Use a hand mixer to mix the egg whites until peaks form!
  8. Add the egg whites in 2 or 3 parts to the mixture from step 4.
  9. Use a spatula to mix, being careful not to smash the foam.
  10. Pout into the pan and cook at 170C for 30 minutes.
