Chocolate Pecan Squares
- 2 12 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 34 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 34 cup light corn syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecan chips
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
- In mixing bowl blend butter and sugar using electric mixer.
- Add corn syrup, egg, and vanilla; mix until mixture is well blended and smooth.
- Add flour mixture, do not over mix.
- Fold in pecans and chips.
- Spread evenly into ungreased 15x10x1 inch baking pan.
- Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool; cut into bars.
