Chicken, Beans and Rice
- 2 cups cooked diced chicken
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 3 cups water
- 1 (28 ounce) canof homestyle beans
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- rinse rice thoroughly.
- heat oil in rice pan on Med/High heat.
- brown half of the rice in the oil.
- only until a golden brown.
- add the rest of the rice, beans, chicken, and water.
- bring to a boil and turn the heat down to low.
- cover and let cook for 25 minutes.
