Tomato And Pear Chutney Recipe
- 2 lbs. tomatoes, peeled & minced
- 2 lbs. pears, peeled & minced
- 2 peppers, peeled & minced
- 1 med. onion, peeled & minced
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1 can minced pimentos
- Combine all ingredients except pimentos.
- Cook slowly, stirring often till desired thickness.
- Add in pimentos and boil for 5 min.
- Pack in sterilized jars and seal immediately.
- Enjoy.
