Grilled Pineapple-Orange Chipotle Burger
- 1-1/2 cups grilled diced pineapple
- 1-1/2 cups red peppers, halved, grilled and cut into medium dice
- 24 each ground sirloin beef patties
- to taste salt and black pepper
- 3 cups A.1. Gourmet Sauce, Orange Chipotle
- 24 each egg hamburger rolls, split, toasted
- 1-1/2 qt. iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 8 each tomatoes, each cut into 6 slices King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- Combine pineapple and peppers; set aside.
- For each serving: Season 1 patty with salt and black pepper.
- Grill on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min.
- on each side or to medium (160 degrees F), or desired doneness.
- Spread 2 Tbsp.
- of the sauce evenly onto cut sides of 1 of the rolls.
- Place 1/4 cup of the lettuce on bottom half of roll; top with 2 tomato slices, burger and 2 Tbsp.
- of the pineapple mixture.
