Carob Fudgies

  1. Combine honey, oil and water in a medium saucepan.
  2. Heat briefly to melt honey.
  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Sift together flour, carob, cream of tartar and baking soda.
  6. Stir into liquid mixture.
  7. Add nuts.
  8. Drop rounded teaspoons of batter onto cookie sheets.
  9. Bake at 325F for 15-18 minutes.
  10. Cool on wire racks.
  11. Store in paper bag.
  12. Use within a few days.
