Sweet Charoset

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Toast walnuts for 5-7 minutes until fragrant; be careful not to burn.
  3. Allow walnuts cool for about 10 minutes on paper towels.
  4. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well, adding a little more wine if necessary.
  5. Pour off any excess liquid.
  6. Store in refrigerator.
  7. Serve cold or at room temperature.
