Hot Holland Punch

  1. Make demerara syrup by combining demerara sugar and hot water in a bowl, and mix together nutmeg, allspice and ground cloves to make spice mix.
  2. In a punch bowl or teapot, combine the ingredients and top with 8 ounces of hot water.
  3. Serve in teacups and garnish with a lemon slice per cup.
