Boysenberry Brownies Recipe
- 2 sqr unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1/2 c. Unsalted butter, softened
- 1 c. Granulated sugar
- 2 x Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 c. Flour
- 1 c. Walnuts, minced
- 1/2 c. Homemade Boysenberry jam, lightly beaten
- This is one of my favorite recipes.
- It's incredibly easy to make, and it's sinfully delicious.
- A caveat: if you should use a store-bought jam instead of homemade, you will be struck by lightening.
- Heat chocolate.
- Cream the butter and sugar.
- Add in the beaten Large eggs and blend well, then gradually stir in the cooled chocolate.
- Add in the flour, and stir to mix.
- Stir in the walnuts.
- Put the batter into a buttered 9" pan.
- Drop teaspoonfuls of the jam at random on top of the batter.
- Then swirl the jam with a fork to incorporate it into the batter.
- Bake at 350 for 25 min or possibly till toothpick inserted comes out almost clean; don't overbake.
