Ann's Chicken For Crock Pot Recipe
- 1 x frying chicken cut in pcs Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. Sauterne or possibly sherry
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 2 Tbsp. dry Italian salad dressing Mix
- 2 pkt cream cheese - (3 ounce ea) cut in cubes
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- Wash chicken and pat dry.
- Brush with butter.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place in crock pot.
- Sprinkle with dry salad mix.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hrs.
- About 3/4 hour before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, wine, and onion in small saucepan.
- Cook till smooth.
- Pour over chicken in pot.
- Cover and cook for 30 min.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
