Apple Jack Chunk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup bourbon whiskey, your favorite variety
- 2 granny smith apples, cored, peeled and diced
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 red onion, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- Heat a large saute pan over medium-high heat.
- Combine all the ingredients in the preheated pan, stirring frequently.
- Saute until the mixture is reduced by about 50% and the sauce is thick and syrupy.
- Serve warm.
- Cover, and refrigerate for up to three days.
