Chicken Cacciatore

  1. Heat oil in frying pan
  2. and
  3. cook
  4. chicken
  5. in
  6. hot oil until it is lightly browned
  7. and
  8. no longer pink inside, about 10 minutes.
  9. Remove chicken
  10. from
  11. pan
  12. and
  13. keep warm.
  14. Place vegetables in pan drippings
  15. (adding
  16. more
  17. oil if needed) and saute for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain oil
  18. and return chicken to pan along with the tomato
  19. sauce, tomato paste and salad dressing. Heat through and serve over hot cooked rice.
