Great Grandma's Pumpkin Pie Recipe
- 9 inch unbaked pie crust
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 3/4 c. Libby's pumpkin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Stir Large eggs into pumpkin.
- Blend salt and spices with sugar.
- Mix into pumpkin.
- Gradually stir in lowfat milk till well mixed.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Cover edges of crust with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 15 min.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking an additional 45-55 min or possibly till a sharp knife inserted in center comes out clean.
