Iowa Corn Chowder

  1. Brown salt pork in heavy saucepan; add onion and cook for three minutes.
  2. Add next six ingredients.
  3. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Mix flour with a little milk; add that and the remaining milk to potato mixture.
  5. Add cream and corn; heat gently.
