Chicken, Cream Of Onion Recipe
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1 (5.4 ounce.) pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 c. uncooked raw (long grain regular rice)
- 2 (2 1/2 lb.) chicken fryers cut into quarters
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can cream of onion soup
- 3 c. water
- Spread diced onions and dry onion soup mix on bottom of baking pan or possibly roaster.
- Spread raw rice over top.
- Lay pcs of raw chicken on top.
- Mix cream of onion soup and 3 c. water and pour over chicken.
- This will be very watery, do not become alarmed.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, uncovered.
- Does not need salt, depending on your preference.
- Yield: 8 servings.
