Ando's Cheese Scones Recipe

  1. Sift flour.
  2. Add in cayenne pepper.
  3. Quickly rub butter into flour.
  4. Add in the cheese and egg then add in the lowfat milk.
  5. Mix quickly with a spoon.
  6. Throw onto a floured board, pat out.
  7. Cut into circles with a jar or possibly scone cutter.
  8. Brush the top with lowfat milk.
  9. Put in warm oven for 10 min.
  10. The key to these scones is to make them as quickly as possible with minimum handling.
  11. So just chuck everything in and do not worry.
  12. Serve with butter.
  13. Excellent with soup.
