Crispy and Fluffy Meatballs with Sweet-Sour Sauce

  1. Chop the onion finely and put all the ingredients for the meatballs in a bowl.
  2. Mix the ingredients really well.
  3. Shape into balls.
  4. Deep-fry the meatballs in oil heated to 160C oil until golden brown.
  5. When the surface becomes crispy, it is done.
  6. Combine all the sweet and sour sauce ingredients.
  7. Add the katakuriko and stir well.
  8. Place the meat balls and sauce ingredients in a frying pan.
  9. Stir and continue to cook until the sauce has thickened.
  10. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if you like.
  11. Serve.
  12. You can freeze these for later!
  13. You can put quail eggs inside the meatballs like Scotch eggs.
  14. It is tasty and colourful for your lunch box.
