Fettuccine Carbonara

  1. Cook fettuccine in 4-quart saucepan according to package directions.
  2. Add asparagus during last minute of cooking.
  3. Drain.
  4. Immediately return cooked fettuccine and asparagus to pan.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and half & half.
  6. Add bacon; mix lightly.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.
