Macroni cheese
- 175 grams dried macroni
- 50 grams butter
- 50 grams flour
- 600 ml milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of ground pepper
- 200 grams cheddar cheese grated
- Boil the macroni and drain the water.
- Then put it back in to the bowl
- To make the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan on a low heat.
- Stir in the flour and cook the mixture for 1 minute.
- Take the pan off thhe heat and add little milk.
- Stir it really well and then add the rest of the milk, at little at each time.
- Heat the pan again a then start making the sauce boil.
- Make sure it doesn't stick
- The sauuce will began to thicken.
- Let it bubble for 1 minute and then add 175 grams of the cheese and take it out the heatpan from the heat.
- Pour the sauce over the macroni and stir it well.
- Brush some butter into an oven proof dish and pour the cheesy macroni in it.
- Sprincle the rest of the cheese .
- Then bake the macroni about 25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Wearing oven gloves take out the dish.
- Let the macroni cool for some minutes and then serve it
