Turkey Loaf Recipe
- 2 pound grnd turkey
- 1 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. minced green onions
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounce. mozzarella cheese cut in 8" length pcs
- 4 ounce. fully cooked ham cut in 1/2" wide strips
- Mix all ingredients well except mozzarella cheese and ham.
- Spread 1/4 turkey mix proportionately in 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
- Top with 1/2 the cheese placing 2 pcs lengthwise about 1 inch from the long side of dish.
- Top with 1/4 turkey mix.
- Place ham strips lengthwise about 1 inch in from long sides of dish.
- Repeat turkey and cheese layers.
- Top with remaining turkey mix.
- Cover.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 1 hour.
