Beef Tenderloin Bagel with Mozzarella Cheese
- 4 Tablespoons Butter, Softened, Divided Use
- 1 cup Leftover Cooked Beef
- 1 whole Bagel, Fresh, Sliced In Half Horizontally
- 4 ounces, weight Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced Thin
- 2 Tablespoons Horseradish Sauce
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Over medium heat, hat half of the butter in a small saute pan.
- Heat until butter is melted and add beef.
- Saute until beef is heated through.
- Spread the rest of the butter on the insides of the top and bottom of the bagel.
- Place both sides of the bagel on a cookie sheet, butter side up.
- Pile the beef evenly on one side of the bagel.
- Add cheese on top of the beef and broil until melted and starting to slightly bubble.
- (You may need to remove the bagel side without the beef earlier to prevent burning).
- Remove the bagel from the oven.
- Spread the inside of the bagel half without the beef with horseradish sauce.
- Add that bagel half on top of the other side.
- Enjoy.
