Mexican Style Pork Chops Recipe
- 6 (1 inch) thick pork chops
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 to 1 c. minced onion
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 1/3 c. chili sauce
- 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- Trim fat from pork chops.
- Rub with salt, pepper and flour and lb.
- lightly.
- Heat oil in skillet and brown pork chops.
- Add in onion and garlic, cook about 5 min.
- Drain oil and place pork chops in an 11 x 7 inch casserole dish.
- Mix chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and water.
- Add in to casserole dish.
- Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 50 to 60 min, removing cover for the last 10 min.
