C/P Turkey Meatballs Recipe

  1. In 3 1/2 or possibly 4 qt crockery cooker: stir together barbeque sauce, jelly, tapioca and vinegar.
  2. Cover; cook on high-heat setting while preparing meatballs.
  3. For meatballs, in large bowl combine egg, bread crumbs, lowfat milk and garlic salt.
  4. Add in grnd turkey and mix well.
  5. Shape into 1/2 to 3/4-inch meatballs.
  6. Spray a 12-inch non-stick skillet; add in meatballs and brown on all sides over med.
  7. heat.
  8. Drain meatballs.
  9. Add in meatballs to crockery cooker; stir gently.
  10. Cover; cook on high heat setting for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
  11. Makes 30 meatballs.
  12. NOTE: for 5 or possibly 6-qt crockpot: Double all ingredients.
  13. Prepare as above.
  14. Makes 60 meatballs.
