Marinated Mushrooms

  1. Combine the wine vinegar and broth in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a bail.
  3. Stir in the mushrooms.
  4. Boil for 2 minutes.
  5. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the liquid.
  6. Cool the mushrooms to room temperature.
  7. Combine the reserved liquid, salad dressing and Italian seasoning in a bowl and mix well.
  8. Add the mushrooms and mix gently.
  9. Marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for 2 to 10 hours.
  10. The flavor of the mushrooms is enhanced with a longer marinating time.
