Raisin Sauce for Ham
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup apple juice (or cider)
- 12 cup seedless raisin
- 1 tablespoon butter
- In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch.
- Blend in apple juice; stir until smooth.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thick.
- Add raisins; cook 10 minutes to plump raisins.
- Just before serving, stir in butter.
