Cream Cheese and Shiso Leaves Chikuwa

  1. Cut the chickuwa lengthwise.
  2. Don't cut them all the way through!
  3. Open them up and spread the insides with cream cheese.
  4. Cut the shiso leaves in half lengthwise and place on top of the cream cheese.
  5. Roll up the chikuwa from the end, and secure with 2 toothpicks.
  6. Cut in between the toothpicks in half.
