Chicken And Rice Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. quick-cooking or possibly regular rice
- 4 ounce. can liquid removed mushrooms
- 1 stalk celery, minced
- 2 tbsp. minced onion
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. water
- 2 1/2 to 3 pound chicken, cut up
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. butter, melted
- Paprika and poultry seasoning
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In 9x13 inch pan, combine uncooked rice, mushrooms, celery, onion, soup and water.
- Arrange chicken on rice, skin-side up.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Brush chicken with butter.
- Sprinkle with paprika and poultry seasoning.
- Bake uncovered 1 hour or possibly till tender.
