Quadruple Chocolate Puppy Chow

  2. Measure out the cereal and pour it into a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, sift or whisk together powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
  4. Set aside.

  6. In a medium bowl, microwave chocolate, butter, and peanut butter for one minute on high.
  7. Stir.
  8. Continue to microwave in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until smooth.
  9. Stir in vanilla extract and salt.

  11. Pour the melted chocolate mixture onto the cereal and gently stir until coated evenly.
  12. Pour into a gallon-size Ziploc-style bag and add powdered sugar mixture.
  13. Seal bag and shake until evenly coated.
  14. Spread mixture out on a sheet of wax paper to cool and dry.
  15. Once dry, pour cereal into a storage container and gently fold in M&Ms.
