Sweet And Sour Pork Chops
- 6 center cut pork chops
- vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. ReaLemon
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. chicken flavor bouillon cube
- 1 can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve syrup)
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- green pepper rings
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In large ovenproof skillet, brown chops in oil.
- Remove chops from skillet.
- Pour off fat.
- In skillet, combine ReaLemon and cornstarch.
- Mix well.
- Add sugar, onion, soy sauce and bouillon.
- Let bouillon dissolve.
- Add pork chops and carrots.
- Cover.
- Bake 1 hour or until tender.
- Add pineapple chunks.
- Cover and bake 10 minutes longer.
- Garnish with green pepper.
- Serve with rice if desired.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
