Remixed Baked Beans
- 1 can baked beans
- 1 small onion
- 1 tsp crushed garlic. 2 cloves apprx (u can grate it with the fine grater its faster)
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1 green chilli split. More if you want.
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 salt
- 1 small bunch of coriander
- 1 tomato
- Chop all your ingredients and open the can of baked beans.
- Add 2 Tb of olive oil in a pan.
- Add your chopped onion saute till almost golden.
- When the edges of the onions turn brown
- Add the garlic stirr till fragrant
- Add the chopped tomatoes and a pinch of salt to help them break down faster.
- Make sure the tomatoes completely break down and most of the water evaporates and oil comes out the sides.
- Thats how u know they are ready.
- If there isn't enough oil u will need to add more so the tomatoes cook well u can drain it off before you add the baked beans.
- Next add the baked beans and whole split chilli and cook it down until its no longer runny then add more water to make it the consistency u like.
- Add your coriander, peppers, black pepper, lemon juice if you want and adjust salt.
- Remove the split chill its job was to impart aroma nothing more.
- It doesn't add heat.
- U can even add more if u want.
- U can store this in the fridge for 1 week and eat it for breakfast.
- Just make enuff.
- We make 4 to 5 cans at a go.
