Turnip Mousseline Recipe

  1. Place carrots and turnips in a large saucepan.
  2. Add in sufficient water to cover, and add in salt.
  3. Cover and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer till vegetables are tender, about 12 min.
  5. Drain.
  6. Place vegetables in a mixer bowl.
  7. Beat with an electric mixer or possibly in a food processor till smooth.
  8. Gradually beat in lowfat milk, butter and nutmeg.
  9. Serves 4.
