Ginger Beef Recipe gayot

  1. Cut beef across the grain into 1/8-inch thick slices.
  2. In large bowl, combine all marinade ingredients.
  3. Add beef and toss lightly.
  4. Marinate 20 minutes or up to 1 hour.
  5. Heat wok or large skillet.
  6. Add 1 Tbsp.
  7. oil.
  8. When hot, add beef and stir-fry over high heat, 5-7 minutes.
  9. Remove beef to plate.
  10. Wipe out wok with paper towel.
  11. In small bowl, combine sauce ingredients.
  12. In another small bowl, place 1-2 Tbsp.
  13. water and broccoli florets.
  14. Cover with towel and steam in microwave 2-3 minutes until just tender.
  15. Set aside.
  16. Reheat wok or large skillet, then add remaining 1 Tbsp.
  17. oil.
  18. When hot, add garlic, ginger, and green onions.
  19. Cook for 20 seconds, then add bean sprouts, broccoli, and rice wine.
  20. Cook 1-2 minutes, then add sauce and combine.
  21. Remove from heat and serve over brown rice with vegetables.
